We are looking forward to a new year in the men's ministry here at LifeSong Family Church. We already have six months of events planned out and several more in the works thanks to the Men's Ministry Team. Be sure to check this site frequently as I am committed to keeping it updated this year. If you have suggestions or just want to be a bigger part of the men's ministry please come and talk to me. This church will never be any stronger than it's foundation and the men are the foundation. We are building the foundation just the way Jesus did, one block at a time. You can be that next block!!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
JANUARY 15th @ 6:00pm
MEN'S NIGHT OUT: We will begin the night at 6:00pm with a pot luck dinner. I will be making my award winning white chili so if everyone could bring accessories for that, or better yet desserts, it would be great!! We will follow that with a showing of the classic John Bunyan dreamstory "Pilgrim's Progress". It is a very exciting story about a man named Christian and his journey from the city of destruction to the gates of heaven. If you have never seen it you will thoroughly enjoy it and if you have seen it you know it is worth seeing again. Please come out and join us for a night of fellowship and good Christian fun. There is a sign-up sheet on the men's ministry bulletin board in the lobby outside the sanctuary. Please sign up and bring a friend especially a lost or backslidden one.
FEBRUARY 20th @ 7:00am
MEN'S BREAKFAST:We will begin cooking at about 6:00am so if you would like to help cook be ther early. If you can bring something to cook please put that on the sign-up sheet when it goes up a little later. We will try to begin eating about 7:00am and have a devotional afterward as well as a short session to inform you of what is coming up in the men's ministry. This is a really good way to get to know some of the guys in church. Don't worry about fitting in with this bunch, you might not even want to!

FAMILY BOWLING:This one is still in the planning stages so we will have more information for you at a litle later date. Everyone is invited to this one! So, please be sure to sign up for this way in advance as we will have to be able to judge how many lanes we will need.
APRIL 23rd & 24th
ANNUAL MEN'S RETREAT:The annual men's retreat is scheduled for April 23rd and 24th this year. We would like to have an even better turnout than last year and if I remember correctly we had the largest turnout in the state last year. Let's have a goal of no less than 50 this year. I know we can do that. It is a great opportunity to not only connect with guys in your own church but also with men from all over the state as well as some of our state level leadership. Ther is always golf and fishing on Friday and plenty of good cooking all weekend. Plan it on your calendar now and be sure to ask for that day off from work. It will definitely be worth it.
